Ok so with the space given in my little appartment I do have to settle. Someday when I win the lotto I shall have something similar to these (humor me here! :D ) hahaha but honestly I just dream of this!
(Dog too!!! Not too sure about the colour co-ordination however?! lol)
(A ladder, Oh a Ladder .... Love this so much! Space, space, space!)
But due to the settling factor *takes a pin and "pops" the fantasy library, space and organization dreams* I shall be settling for this beauty from Ikea (If all measurements work out):
Hummmm.... lol classy ;-) I am very excited though this is going to allow me to display SOOOO many more books! (And maybe, just maybe buy some more for the collection :D )
I'd love to see or hear from you what your dream/fantasy/library/book nook would look like :)
- Peace, love and bookshelves! Amanda
Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI stumbled across your blog, and I am intrigued. I love getting book recommendations, and I am constantly on the hunt for something new to read.
As to your search for the perfect bookshelf, it is a problem that I am constantly plagued with!! I never have enough room to store my collection. I have currently spread over 3 bookshelves like your IKEA find, an old entertainment unit, and countless piles tucked in end tables and basically anywhere I can find space.
This is a bookstore near where my cousin lives, and he took me to it when I was visiting. I fell in love with the style, and I am waiting to get my own house so i can create a room just like this!

I'll keep checking back for new posts. Keep putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard as the case may be) and follow your dreams. Find a story to tell and run with it, and who knows, maybe one day, someone will be blogging about your book.
Peace and blessings,
Lyn
Interesting post! =)
ReplyDeleteI just put up a bookshelf with 3 rows across..and
7 shelves down..holding about 180 books, love it!
